World Down Syndrome Day

The world unites annually on March 21 to mark World Down Syndrome Day, adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in December 2011. It aims to raise awareness of Down's syndrome and support people with Down's syndrome and their families. People with Down's syndrome and those living and working with them around the world organize and participate in activities and events To raise public awareness and create a single global voice that advocates for the rights, integration, and well-being of persons with Down's syndrome.
