  • Mission

Activate and follow up the implementation of the tasks of the Measurement and Evaluation Center based on clarity in the vision and the development of practices based on procedural definitions of those tasks in accordance with a system of values ​​that govern the measurement and evaluation process in general and the academic university in particular to achieve development and quality requirements and provide evidence-based information to decision makers.

  • Goals:

The main objective that the Measurement and Evaluation Unit at the college seeks to achieve and follow up the implementation of the tasks of the Measurement and Evaluation Center at the university at the college level. This main goal is achieved through the following sub-objectives:

1 - Spreading the culture of measurement and evaluation at the college level.

2- Enhancing the role of the Measurement and Evaluation Center in achieving its mission at the level of departments in the college.

3- Contribute to the improvement and development of teaching methods and methods of evaluation in the college.

4- Ensuring the safety of the procedures for applying the performance evaluation tools in the college.

5- Enhancing a safe environment for the conduct of the educational process in the college.

6- Predicting strengths and weaknesses in the educational process in the college.

7- Interpretation of data, information, and providing feedback to the faculty members of the college.

  • Unit tasks:

1- Supervising and correcting the application of the various measurement tools sent from the Measurement and Evaluation Center and providing the center with data.

2- Supervising all courses and workshops provided by the Measurement and Evaluation Center within the college and submitting a detailed report on that.

3- Providing all data related to test results, absenteeism rates, and student numbers attributed to the number of faculty members, and providing them to the Measurement and Evaluation Center.

4- Automatic correction of objective tests and providing the Measurement and Evaluation Center with the results of the test items analysis.

5- Presenting and discussing the reports prepared by the Measurement and Evaluation Center on the results of analyzing the various measures, analyzing the results of tests, building questions, and others on the faculty members of the college.

6- Providing the Measurement and Evaluation Center with a detailed report after each interview or procedure related to measurement and evaluation within the college.

7- Conducting studies and research proposed by the Measurement and Evaluation Center at the college level.

8- Providing the Measurement and Evaluation Center with all the difficulties and obstacles that hinder the implementation of the measurement and evaluation tasks in the college.

9- Providing advice to faculty members and postgraduate students in the college with regard to the field of measurement and evaluation.
