Evaluation and Measurement Unit

Mission
Activate and follow up the implementation of the tasks of the Measurement and Evaluation Center based on clarity in the vision and the development of practices based on procedural definitions of those tasks following a system of values ​​that govern the measurement and evaluation process in general and the academic university, in particular, to achieve development and quality requirements and provide evidence-based information to decision-makers.

Goals:
The main objective that the Measurement and Evaluation Unit at the college seeks is to achieve and follow up the implementation of the tasks of the Measurement and Evaluation Center at the university level. This primary goal is achieved through the following sub-objectives:

• Spreading the culture of measurement and evaluation at the college level.
• Enhancing the role of the Measurement and Evaluation Center in achieving its mission at the level of departments in the college.
• Contribute to the improvement and development of teaching methods and methods of evaluation in the college.
• Ensuring the safety of the procedures for applying the performance evaluation tools in the college.
• Enhancing a safe environment for the conduct of the educational process in the college.
• Predicting strengths and weaknesses in the educational process in the college.
• Interpreting data and information and providing feedback to the college faculty members.

Unit tasks:

• Supervising and correcting the application of the various measurement tools sent from the Measurement and Evaluation Center and providing the center with data.
• Supervise all courses and workshops provided by the Measurement and Evaluation Center within the college and submit a detailed report.
• Providing all data related to test results, absenteeism rates, and student numbers attributed to the number of faculty members and providing them to the Measurement and Evaluation Center.
• Automatic correction of objective tests and providing the Measurement and Evaluation Center with the results of the test items analysis.
• Presenting and discussing the reports the Measurement and Evaluation Center prepared on analyzing the various measures, test results, building questions, and others on the college faculty members.
• Provide the Measurement and Evaluation Center with a detailed report after each interview or procedure related to measurement and evaluation within the college.
• Conducting studies and research proposed by the Measurement and Evaluation Center at the college level.
• Providing the Measurement and Evaluation Center with all the difficulties and obstacles that hinder the implementation of the measurement and evaluation tasks in the college.
• Providing advice to faculty members and postgraduate students in the college about measurement and evaluation.
