The launch of the "Health Professions Education Forum 2023" at the university
On Saturday, 27 Jun, King Khalid University launched the "Health Professions Education Forum 2023" at the university, organized by the university, represented by the Saudi Society for Medical Education; it began over two days under the auspices of His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Faleh bin Raja Allah Al-Salami.
The President of the Saudi Society for Medical Education, Dr. Hassan bin Ali Al-Zahrani, stated that the first day of the forum included three training workshops, which included the areas of "basic assessment skills," "interprofessional education," and "basics of statistics in scientific research."
Notably, the forum received more than 160 research papers from various health colleges, universities, and Saudi health institutions, during which 120 research posters and some papers will be presented.
